Epcot France Pavilion Construction Update Including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure from December 31st, 2019 and January 3rd, 2020

Hi everyone!

I originally wrote the below article on January 1st, 2020 and am adding a handful of photos ahead of it a few days later (January 4th, 2020). We were riding the Disney Skyliner from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Epcot yesterday and I was looking for any additional details I didn’t notice on the last set of photos. The one thing about the Ratatouille area at Disneyland Paris is that there are fun rat/Ratatouille details outside the attraction. And I found some yesterday I had not seen before, in the fencing.

The sun was almost setting when we were riding through to the International Gateway on January 3rd.

And here is the fun part for me, seeing the rat design in the fence. I had not noticed it before. I would not be surprised to see more designs elsewhere as well.

There is quite a bit of fence with the design. It is fun seeing the details taking shape!

It was so nice to have a blue sky yesterday after quite a bit of grey and rain over the last couple of weeks. We made a couple of stops on Walt Disney World property yesterday, including at Epcot to enjoy walking around early before the large New Year’s Eve crowds arrived. The Disney Skyliner was not crowded at all, so we took a ride from the Epcot International Gateway to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and back for enjoyment and to check out the construction in France. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris open this summer, and every time I ride over the construction, there are some changes! That is the same with much of Epcot now as well, as it goes through a transformation. Here are photos and video from December 31st.

A lot of work was going on yesterday.

The chimneys look really fun.

Other elements are taking shape and can be seen from the ground and the Disney Skyliner.

I look forward to an expanded France pavilion. Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy is an attraction I enjoy in Disneyland Paris and now that it is coming to Epcot as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, it will be very popular too. And La Crêperie de Paris will offer both table service and counter service, which will now mean three table service restaurants for the France pavilion. Here are more photos from yesterday!
