Disney’s Yacht Club Train Display 2013 Features Seaside Village, Department 56 Disney Figures

Hi everyone!

We’ve been bringing you the holiday displays around Walt Disney World – the display at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is unlike the others, in that it’s not gingerbread or chocolate – it’s a train circling a beautiful seaside village (but it has a “Disney Side”!)

The train set is located in the lobby of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – it has been a staple here during the holiday season for years, and always offers a few changes from year to year.

Photos follow, but you can also see our video of the display!

This side of the train display features mostly Disney related Department 56 figurines and houses.

Lighting McQueen and Mater with Huey, Dewey and Louie.

Mickey puts Mickey ears on these snowman (also Department 56). In the background, one of the signs from around the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

The train bears the names of the Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club restaurants and services on the cars.

Donald’s Toys:

Santa Claus with his reindeer.

An elf spray paints Christmas trees.

More Department 56 pieces:

Rudolph and Clarice:

This side of the village has few Disney references, it is a traditional seaside village.

The Yacht Club Galley restaurant is referenced here.

Marcelene’s home made candy:

An RV with campers.

The decorations at Disney’s Yacht Club are nautical themed.

We talk about the various Walt Disney World holiday displays in our Mousesteps Weekly #79:

We have been to all of the Boardwalk area resorts except the Walt Disney World Dolphin now – we plan to stop there tonight!
