Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Disney World Announcement TONIGHT on “American Idol” Disney Night

There will be a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Walt Disney World announcement TONIGHT on American Idol ‘Disney Night’. Hopefully this will be the opening date for the attraction, which opens this summer! In addition, Jenifer Lewis (the voice of Mama Odie in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure) will perform “Dig a Little Deeper” from Disney Animation’s The Princess and the Frog. The top 5 American Idol contestants will be singing “Disney classics and modern hits”.

Exciting news! This Sunday, the Top 5 “American Idol” contestants will be singing beloved Disney classics and modern hits during a special Disney Night that’ll feature a musical surprise for everyone looking forward to our new attraction – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The all-star judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, as well as host Ryan Seacrest, kick off the night at Disneyland Resort in California, celebrating friendship at this summer’s Pixar Fest. Meanwhile, the Top 5 hopefuls fly to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to make memories and prepare for their Disney Night performances.
During their visit to Walt Disney World, The Most Magical Place On Earth, the contestants indulged in thrilling and classic attractions, encounters with iconic characters, delectable snacks and souvenir hunting, all to infuse magic into their live performances of Disney melodies. It was a heartwarming family affair as the contestants were surprised by their mothers in honor of Mother’s Day. They also received personalized coaching sessions from guest mentor Kane Brown at EPCOT.
Contestants didn’t just play in the magic, they stayed in the magic! The Top 5 stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a part of the Disney Resorts Collection. These unique Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World feature the same legendary storytelling and guest service found in the Theme Parks. But the magic doesn’t end there! This Sunday’s “Disney Night” episode of “American Idol” promises even more enchantment. Renowned actress and singer Jenifer Lewis, the voice of Mama Odie in the upcoming new attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening this summer at Walt Disney World, will grace the stage with a performance of “Dig a Little Deeper” from Disney Animation’s “The Princess and the Frog.” Eight-time Grammy winner Terrance Blanchard, a featured musician in the film and collaborator on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, will accompany Jenifer on the trumpet. It’s a #DisneyNight celebration you won’t want to miss.
