Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

8/19 Spaceship Earth, Teppan Edo, Alfredos,

Hi!

I had planned a lunch at Alfredos for my birthday, so I spent a little time also taking some photos at Epcot.  Just updating today, 8/21 – I've heard that the stars have come down since Saturday.  I can't be there until Friday, my gas budget would get shot – but I'm looking forward to seeing it!

I'd hoped to see the Muppet Mobile Lab – I was told by someone at Epcot that it did get out yesterday, but I didn't see anything this afternoon (I was in the right place, around the right time).  Sooooo – maybe Friday!

For those of you are interested in Disneyland, I asked Jason at Disneygeek about exchanging links –  I'll have a page with quite a few links, but I wanted to mention Disneygeek because there is a lot of similarity to mine – but on different coasts.

I'll be back at the Contemporary on Friday, to update there (you can see my most current update from 8/16).

Here are the photos:

There are areas where you don't even see the last bit of what held the wand:

China had been covered up so long, I am not sure when it was partially uncovered – but it's nice to see it without just a facade (though it's partially still on there):

I wanted to go to Alfredos before it switched into a new restaurant in 2 weeks.  Here are some photos:

I had the Chicken Millanese – very good!  I can learn to do it cheaper, though. 🙂

What little I could see of Teppan Edo, it is looking like they are coming along a bit (though they won't be open until at least mid-October):

And in the walkway boarded up from the front of World Showcase that goes towards Club Cool, there was a door opened today to the construction.  I did take a photo before telling a manager that it was open:

If it wasn't so warm out, I'd have taken some more photos around – there are lots of flowers newly planted, and the day was otherwise beautiful (I love all the clouds!)   I can't wait until it gets cooler!  And someone on Micechat noted this afternoon that the Fountainview was open for ice cream.  It wasn't obvious to me while I was there.   I am just glad it's open for something!
