Rix, Contemporary, SSE, Night Photos

I was going to get these up over the weekend, but the broadband connection broke at the All Star Movies after 15 minutes.   Par for the course with me and the internet at Disney!  🙂   You can find some of these photos larger on my Micechat partner site thread!

I was staying at the Coronado Springs Resort for part of the weekend, and stopped over at Cafe Rix:

 

 

I didn't try anything at Rix, I went off-property to eat.  The previous evening, I was told it would be fine to take some photos inside the Rix Lounge.   That was around 5pm – and I was told "no dress code".   I came back around 1:30am, straight from the Magic Kingdom.  I was told that they weren't allowing anyone to take pictures inside yet, and that sneakers weren't acceptable.   So Rix is the first place ever that I've been turned away from for something I was wearing. 🙂  (and I've been to some pretty exclusive places in sneakers!)

I probably won't be back at Rix for more photos – I'm really more into places where I can sit and talk, like the Adventurers Club or Raglan Road.  When I arrived at 1:30am, the place was VERY loud.  I would expect it isn't so loud earlier in the evening.  I enjoy dressing up occasionally, but this wouldn't be the type of place I would.
