1/18 Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom Photo Update

Hi everyone!

The weather has gotten so much warmer – a little chilly yesterday with high winds for half the day, but at least it’s not freezing.   We had more of a fun day at the parks yesterday, but I did take some photos (probably half of this photo blog) and the rest are from Friday and Saturday.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t have a lot going on (in the same way that Epcot and the Magic Kingdom do), but it was wonderful to see a lot of Streetmosphere out!

The Osborne Lights were nearly down when I went, except for a couple of buildings and the Peace on Earth globe:

New promotional items that can be purchased with a minimum purchase of $40 or more (the throw looks really nice):

At the Magic Kingdom, Candy Cane Garden is now history and the tree is down from Town Square.  I don’t remember Christmas sticking around this long in the past.  I love Christmas music and decorations, but it seemed out-of-place once the parade and shows ended.

Muppets merchandise, including these nice volunteer shirts.  I am not sure if they make adult sizes, but hopefully!:

Over at the Grand Floridian, the grass between the main building and the Wedding Pavilion is very brown from the cold weather we’ve had:

This was very odd, in that two guys appeared to be recruited into lifting a girl and then a couple of women into the air like cheerleaders for photos.  It didn’t appear that they knew each other prior:

We’d never seen this exhibit before, it’s in Morocco and is called Moroccan Style: The Art of Personal Adornment.  The display is very interesting, it includes jewelry, the art of henna, and clothing.
