7/18 Magic Kingdom Photo Update – Fantasyland, Exposition Hall
Hi everyone!
We went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday – it was a little slow going for me, I sprained my ankle a few days back. But it was nice to get to the park, we celebrated Disneylands 55th birthday by riding opening day Disneyland attractions (such as Dumbo and Autopia).
The courtyard area is open at Exposition Hall, and the area inside that is visible doesn’t look different. There is some new landscaping and the brick work looks like the new bricks that started going on the front of Exposition Hall a month or more back:
Over in Fantasyland , the Pooh tree looks fuller (it is getting more leaves added to it), and large mounds of dirt are seen over the walls of the construction. We have a few pictures and video from Dumbo (the video really shows the construction area well).
The soft flooring from the DVC area peeks out from under the wall:
Some more photos around Fantasyland:
I just noticed the “Royal Dressmakers” on the sign at Castle Couture:
We rode Snow Whites Scary Adventures:
And then went into Sir Mickey’s, where quite a few shirts were on clearance (it felt like a clearance type store, though plenty was at full price too):
Waiting for Peter Pan:
Timothy Mouse against the fireworks coloring:
And we were told that a fire damaged some items from the Main Street Electrical Parade – one noticeable item missing were these hats:
We are heading tonight to the D23 Aulani event tonight – we’ll post pictures tomorrow!
