4/28/11 New Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Merchandise, Duffy the Disney Bear Graduation Outfit

Hi everyone!

We spent a few hours at Epcot yesterday, starting with a gardening seminar about palm trees. We now have four small palm trees (we received two each).  I am going to miss the Flower and Garden Festival when it's gone!  In the meantime, I noticed that the Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise display at Mouse Gear has grown in the past couple of days, and Duffy the Disney Bear is now in a new graduation outfit.

Before moving on to the Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise,  I found fun bear items in two different World Showcase countries.  The first bear is Duffy draped in a makeshift royal outfit at the United Kingdom pavilion, and the second bear is a pirate at Germany.  I love walking through the countries every so often to look at unique merchandise:

The Royal Wedding merchandise I'd seen previously at the United Kingdom was nearly sold out, all of the official china items were gone.  Look for coverage tomorrow here at Mousesteps  (4/29) from the Grand Floridian Royal Wedding Event that I'll be attending!  I woke up early for Princess Diana's wedding 30 years ago (I was in high school at the time), and I'm looking forward to seeing her son get married.

Now on to the Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise.  There is a ton of it, and more seems to be added every day!  There are hats, shirts, toy weapons, and much more. The push for Pirates 4 is big in the park, with the new character Angelica now meeting and greeting guests in the Magic Kingdom!

This hat raised my eyebrows, it seemed a bit too much for Walt Disney World.  Your thoughts? You can share your opinions with Mousesteps on Twitter and Facebook!

On the other hand, these Pirates of the Caribbean Mickey ears are beautiful!  There are different scenes on each ear, as well as inside the hat. The ears come in a lovely box, with a pin attached.  These are a LE of 1000, and priced at $69.95.
