6/1 Walt Disney World Dolphin Presidential Suite – A Suite With An Amazing View!

During a break in D23's Destination D, we ducked out for a private tour of the Walt Disney World Dolphin's Presidential Suite. I never expected the view to be so spectacular, and it's balcony can fit 30 guests!

We have a full video of the suite here!

A couple of weeks earlier, we toured the Royal Asante Suite at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.   I didn't expect the "wow" factor to go up any higher for any other suite on property – but it did.  The Dolphin's suite theme is very different – more modern, more light, more color.  Where it exceeds expectations for me is the expansive view it has over the property, as well as the size – an extremely impressive 3200 square feet.  Most of the homes I've lived in have not exceeded that!  There have been Presidents, Presidential candidates, and celebrities that have used this suite. It is often used during conventions, but the rack rate is $2900 per night for guests anytime when available (with a 3 night minimum over New Years Eve). We were told that this is the highest point on property that can be occupied by guests.

The suite we toured is 3 bedroom, 2 stories. The first story has a parlor that is over 1000 square feet, and includes a baby grand piano. There is a dining room, kitchen, and a living area. The suite sleeps 14.

I think these photos were taken near the elevator, I do have a 35x optical zoom on my camera, so it isn't going to look this close. But it is visible, and I can only imagine that you can view fireworks from at least 2 locations on the balcony – Illuminations at Epcot and Fantasmic at Disney's Hollywood Studios. And from at least one window you could watch Wishes at the Magic Kingdom.

I could also see Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Coronado Springs in the foreground:

And closer to the Dolphin, you can see the Swan, Boardwalk, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios (and Downtown Disney in one photo):
