General Manager Adrian Jones thanked many people and companies for their support, including the 1059 Model Citizens (employees) of LEGOLAND Florida. There are big plans for the park! Jones said, "We are absolutely focused on positioning from being a single day visitor destination to a multi-day resort destination". He asked the community for their support as the park moves forward with these plans.

The CEO of Merlin Entertainment Groups, Nick Varney talked about a trip he took to Florida as a child. The destination was Walt Disney World, and he had twenty LEGO bricks to keep him company along the drive from Illinois. He recalled, "I'm pretty sure I broke the world record for the number of structures one could make with twenty LEGO bricks". Now, Varney has fifty million LEGO bricks to enjoy in his newest LEGOLAND park.

Varney explained how most theme parks are passive, but LEGOLAND has many interactive attractions that "demand your engagement", from the Ford Driving School to the Rescue Academy. He also stated that the gardens would retain the name "Cypress Gardens". Varney picked up where Adrian Jones had left off regarding LEGOLAND expansion plans, announcing that there will be a LEGOLAND water park, which will be "totally awesome and totally LEGO". There are also plans for a LEGOLAND hotel.
