11/1 Fort Wilderness Halloween Golf Cart Parade, Decorations, Pumpkin Carving and Disney Characters

Hi everyone!

We spent much of the last two days at Fort Wilderness to enjoy Halloween activities! I'll be adding a Backyard BBQ review this week, but I'm posting some character photos here from the event as many were dressed for Halloween. We thought the Halloween golf cart parade was even better than last year!

The photos span October 30th and 31st, but I'm starting with Halloween day first. For anyone who hasn't seen the Fort Wilderness Golf Cart Parade, it's a real treat! We have video of it here. The decorations around the campsites are always impressive, and many guests also participate in the Halloween pumpkin decorating contest.

We drove through the Magic Kingdom toll booth, which had inflatable pumpkins up for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. They haven't always been up during the Parties.

We walked from the parking lot to the Meadows, where we planned to stand for the golf cart parade. The walk is less than 15 minutes, and we stopped along the way for photos. I especially love the ghosts dancing around the tree!

I was surprised to see 40th Anniversary shirts in the Meadows Trading Post:
