12/17 Fantasyland Nighttime Photo Update, New 2012 Merchandise at Walt Disney World

Hi everyone!

This is just a short update, we were at the Magic Kingdom briefly on Thursday night.  It was interesting to see so much work going on in Fantasyland at night! 

The Fantasyland expansion work was going on primarily in the Storybook Circus area, you can see the sparks from welding in a couple of the photos below. We have a night video showing the nighttime construction.

 

 

The 2012 merchandise is now out in force, it seemed to take longer than in previous years. Items include plush characters (Duffy came out a few weeks back), a hat with a propeller, t-shirts and more. Disney has a lot of wonderful and unique merchandise coming out lately, I'd love to see that with the yearly merchandise eventually too.
