8/1 Gaston Fountain Statue With LeFou Now in Front of Gaston’s Tavern! Turrets, Little Mermaid
Hi everyone!
We are often asked for Fantasyland updates, and we have a great one today! Gaston and LeFou are now in front of Gaston's Tavern, and turrets are being added along the castle walls.

Here are a few of the Gaston's statue photos, you'll see more later in the update! It was raining while we were taking the photos, so they aren't as bright as I'd like. I love how in the first photo, it looks like spaghetti coming out of LeFou's nose (if spaghetti was the color of electrical wires). The concept art we've seen shows a fountain with Gaston and LeFou, Gaston holding what looks to be a rifle. It appears here that he's holding barrels in both hands. Barrels of what, I'm not sure – since Gaston's won't be serving real alcohol.
When we'd arrived earlier, the clouds were threatening, but it was a bit brighter of a day. There was a lot of construction activity in Fantasyland, as workers tried to beat the weather.
