Fantasia Ostriches in 2013 Easter Magic Kingdom Pre-Parade; Easter Roundup at Walt Disney World
Hi everyone!
This is our last Easter update for 2013, and a roundup of links of what we've posted this week! We've enjoyed having some extra time to cover the different Easter events this year, and spent much of today at the parks and resorts.

We had originally planned to arrive early to enjoy more resorts, but we only ended up with time for a quick stop at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Mickey was in his tropical attire at Art of Animation, Minnie was in her Easter dress at Pop Century. Next year we hope to get a bigger sampling of characters!
We've already covered the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Easter activities, including meeting Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. The lines were much longer today! We did stop in the Epcot tea garden and found these beautiful teapots covered in flowers. I've never seen them before!
It's a tradition for us to see the Easter Pre-Parade at Disney's Magic Kingdom! We secured a spot early, though we didn't need to. The Azalea Trail Maids were back this weekend, along with the debut of the Fantasia ostriches. Last year, the new elements were the Fantasia hippos and the chicken dancers. I think the Fantasia ostriches look like they are wearing Cruella DeVil outfits! I don't know if I've ever seen them in the parks before, although I looked online and they have been part of meet and greets before, though I can't imagine it was very often.
The flowers and butterflies were new for this year as well.
