Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Walt Disney World Merchandise Update – Steinbach Germany Vintage Mickey & Minnie Ornaments in Epcot; Detailed Earhat Ornaments; Haunted Mansion Merch

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share some fun merchandise we found around Walt Disney World – my favorite items are often from around Epcot’s World Showcase, in part because the items usually can’t be found anywhere else around Walt Disney World. We visit the Epcot World Showcase shops – at least a few of them – nearly every week. We do share some photos on Instagram while in the park as well (under Mousesteps).

At the United Kingdom Tea Caddy, Dunoon bone china mugs are always for sale. This one shows “The Human Skeleton” and, on the back, “The Muscles”. This one isn’t my cup of tea, so to speak, but it’s definitely a conversation piece!

This one I really like, a “Great British Food” mug that personifies a variety of British foods. One of my favorites on the mug is a dancing haggis.

We actually discovered these a few weeks back – and smaller bags just found their way to Publix. I’d never seen Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls before this past month, and this photo was very popular on my Facebook page! There are YouTube videos of the Uncle Joe’s Mint Ball song online which are also fun. The balls themselves are actually more oval, and very strong (but good).

The next stop is Northwest Mercantile in the Canada pavilion.

I’ve seen the soaps here for a long time, but not everyone has – here is just one of them, “Piggy Poop Soap” with no genuine piggy poop. 🙂

This Moose Nuts product was new to me, but apparently it’s been there for a while – more hidden, but now it’s on a large display in the store. We bought the cannister, because we thought the picture was funny. The milk chocolate almonds inside remind us of what we’ve enjoyed at the Walt Disney World resorts in club level.

I’ve never been to Tim Horton’s, but you can now pick up coffee, hot chocolate, tea and more here.

Moose Munch is new for the store.

While I don’t really recommend the Disney Dining Plan, I did want to mention that there are unique snacks here that are covered by the plan.

We found this Malificent hat on the way around World Showcase.

Perhaps my favorite find this week was in the Christmas shop in the Germany Pavilion (Die Weihnachts Ecke). Several ornaments from Steinbach feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a vintage style! These are handmade ornaments, and will look lovely on our tree!  I really love vintage-look items.

This Mickey Mouse nutcracker is much more expensive – the ornaments were about $20, this Mickey is $350.00! But it’s a beautiful piece, also handmade.

This stylish Alice in Wonderland themed Iphone 5 case is from Shinzi Katoh, and can currently be found at the Japan pavilion.

In Italy, these serving spoons and small utensil items (butter knife, etc.) have Mickey Mouse heads on them. These are made in Murano by Proietto Perle SNC.

If you need to cork your bottle of wine, these flat Mickey bottle stoppers are $11.95 each. There are also round ones, I’m not sure if they are the same price.

I’ve not seen Grisbi items here before.

At the Magic Kingdom, Haunted Mansion merchandise that was introduced this year was located in the Christmas shop. We are in the stores all the time, and had never seen these items in person. The Madame Leota music box and gargoyle candleabras were our favorite items there!

Last year, Disney introduced a line of Mickey ear hat ornaments. This year, a much more ornate set is now out – it’s part of this week’s Limited Time Magic, but we were told the ornaments debuted at least a week earlier.

And on the wall, 155 days until Christmas! There is still plenty of time for shopping.

World Showcase is like a treasure hunt, there are always a lot of fun finds! And we really like the new ear hat ornaments.
