“Rivers of Light” Nighttime Show Announced for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park

Many announcements came out of Walt Disney World today, including about Rivers of Light, a nighttime entertainment spectacle that will eventually arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.

Rivers of Light will include water screens, live music, floating lanterns and swirling animal imagery. This is the first time that Disney’s Animal Kingdom will end each night with a spectacular. A new nighttime version of the Kilimanjaro Safaris is coming as well. There is no date – or even year – for these proposed additions to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. A land based on the film Avatar is due to open in 2017.
