MouseSteps Weekly #118 – Epcot Food & Wine Festival Overview w/ Food, Merchandise, DHS Frozen Shop
Hi everyone!
I didn’t realize how many readers/viewers look here for our Mousesteps Weekly shows – we were out of the country (including Disneyland Paris) and I didn’t have a chance to post. Here is Mousesteps Weekly #118! Read below for all the information about the show.
In Mousesteps Weekly #118, we talk about:
The Epcot Food & Wine Festival, which lasts through November 8th, 2014. This is the longest Food & Wine Festival ever! We look at the front display, along with the new Chef Mickey topiary that takes the place of the Cranberry bog.
Next, we stop at merchandise locations to check out the variety of items available. Shirts, mugs, wine, and much more is available to buy.
We head around World Showcase, purchasing food from 9 or 10 booths. Our favorite item is the Gratin dish in the France pavilion! New this year is the Brazil area and the Puerto Rico location.
At the Chase Lounge, guests with a Chase credit card can enjoy free Coke Freestyle beverages and hot coffee, hot tea, charging stations and Disney Infinity. This is in the VIP lounge in the American Adventure pavilion. There is also reserved Illuminations viewing, and Eat to the Beat show reserved seating for guests who arrive early enough for a wristband.
The Odyssey restaurant is serving craft beers this year. It is nice to see the pavilion being used for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival!
And at the Festival Center, guests can enjoy seminars, shopping, and Ghirardelli chocolates! There is a chocolate display that is worth the visit, with beautiful chocolate sculptures by various park and resort chefs and their teams.
Legends of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now a “Frozen” shop. It is themed with posters and artwork, and sells only “Frozen” merchandise now. We take a look at it!
