Mousesteps Weekly #126 is posted! Our topics this week include Disney’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread House opening with Alice; Gaylord Palms Christmas with ICE! and more; D23 Destination D Attraction Rewind; and Rock & Brews in Oviedo. In Mousesteps Weekly #126, we talk about:
The Grand Opening of Disney’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, which included Alice! This is the 16th year of this iconic display, which will stay open through New Years Day.
Next, we head to the Gaylord Palms Resort for ICE! and everything else that the holiday season brings at the resort. ICE! contains 2 million pounds of ice, carved this year into The Nutcracker!
Also at Gaylord Palms, we try out the Alpine Rush Snow Tubing, which has been an instant hit. Guests can purchase a combo ticket for ICE! and the tubing.
Other events we enjoy at Gaylord Palms include the shows (our favorite is Luminescence); Gingy’s Gingerbread Decorating; and Shrekfeast. Gingy and Shrekfeast end at the end of 2014.
We head to D23 Destination D where we share the small Archive exhibit that was featured. It includes a Maelstrom polar bear; Mr. Toad and a Figment! We show some photos from the Adventurers Club portion of Pleasure Island Rewind, which was our favorite part of the event.
Last, we head to Rock & Brews, which is located in Oviedo. The first Rock & Brews on the East coast, the restaurant features unique comfort food with a “California twist”. It is family friendly, pet friendly, and Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are owners of this growing chain restaurant.
