Mousesteps Weekly #130 – Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Daytime; Fort Wilderness Christmas Golf Cart Parade; Osborne Lights; Epcot (Including Living With the Land Holiday Decorations)

In Mousesteps Weekly #130, we end our holiday coverage for 2014 with the busy Christmas week offerings. We talk about the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade daytime version; share the Fort Wilderness Campground Christmas Golf Cart Parade; finally head to the Osborne Lights on Christmas night; and go to Epcot – which has great holiday decorations in Living With the Land! Our friends Martin and Michelle also ended up being shown on the holiday tag, which was fun to see. Watch the show and then read the information below!
In Mousesteps Weekly #130, we talk about:
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade as shown during the daytime. During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the parade, shows and fireworks are only for Party guests, but they become included in the day ticket once it gets closer to Christmas. We recommend having the Christmas tree in the background! Mickey & Minnie, Anna & Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and some other favorites including the reindeer and toy soldiers are here.
Next, we head to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground as it has been a holiday tradition to spend Christmas Eve here for the golf cart parade, Christmas decorations and Trail’s End. While the parade is much shorter than at Halloween, there were some wonderful entries that stood out (including Cinderella Castle in “ice” as a golf cart!) We met Santa as well before heading into dinner.
We went to the Osborne Lights on Christmas night, which is another tradition for us. It usually isn’t too busy, and it really feels like Christmas! We found the Osborne cat by accident, and met Santa Goofy.
Our last stop is Epcot. We were surprised by all the holiday decorations in the Living with the Land ride – they are fantastic! After that, we enjoyed the Epcot Candlelight Processional and saw our friends on the globe during Illuminations (they are there for the holiday tag).
