A Closer Look at Guilia From “Luca” in “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” Parade at Pixar Fest 2024

Pixar Fest returned yesterday to Disneyland Resort, and with it the new “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” parade at Disney California Adventure. There are MANY new characters appearing in the parade, including Luca, Alberto and Guilia from the 2021 film “Luca’ – along with a float themed just for them.

While Luca and Alberto also meet guests at Pixar Pals Playtime Party during Pixar Fest (at Disneyland Park), Giulia is found only in the parade. I wish she swapped out Alberto at Fantasyland Theatre, she’d be very popular. I wanted to share a look at her in the parade!

First, here is our video yesterday of “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration“, followed by photos of Guilia!

The Portorosso themed float arrives with performers representing “Luca” ahead of it.

Guilia rides on a Vespa with the banner that says “Arrivo”, similar to the banner in the Portorosso Cup.

Giulia sports her curly red hair, a blue beanie and an orange and white striped shirt. Her pet turtle Caligola holds the ramp up for her.

Alberto and Luca are in the water. We will see Alberto’s sea monster tail at the end of the article.

Giulia points and waves to guests from above. Just like Panda Mei on the “Turning Red” float, she’s high above and can be seen easily.

She has turquoise paints with the blue patch on them.

Remember that you can meet Luca and Alberto (their land versions) at Fantasyland Theatre during Pixar Fest, but Giulia can only be seen in the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration”.

Pixar Fest will run through August 4th, 2024.
