Book Review: Incredibles 2 Read-Along Storybook and CD

We received Disney’s Incredibles 2 Read-Along Storybook and CD to review. I always enjoy these softcover book and CD combos, they make for an inexpensive gift and I enjoy many of them myself. This book runs about 20 minutes on the CD, which I think is about 5 minutes longer than usual.

As with all of the Disney Read-Along Storybook and CD books, I don’t recommend reading Incredibles 2 Read-Along Storybook and CD until after you’ve seen the film. The book tells the entire story including ending in a condensed form, so it will spoil the ending. Each Disney Read-Along Storybook includes the original film voices (Craig T. Nelson as Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Mrs. Incredible, etc.) and sounds and music of the film its based on. Kids will enjoy hearing the familiar music and characters along with looking at new illustrations.
 
For the price, Incredibles 2 Read-Along Storybook and CD will give many kids hours of enjoyment as they listen to it over and over again. The narration is straightforward. The book is small, softcover and 32 pages long. These books always make nice stocking stuffers at the holidays as well.
