2019 Free Disney Dining Plan Offer Announced for Summer at Walt Disney World

Hi everyone!

The very popular Free Dining Plan at Walt Disney World has been announced for 2019! In the past, this offer has been available a little later in the year – at the slower fall/early winter time frame. This time around, the dates that it can be booked for are July 5 through September 30, 2019 and the offer must be booked by February 10th, 2019. As always, availability is limited and it is best to book as soon as possible to get your choice of resort and dates. The Free Dining Plan has been a sought-after offer since it debuted in 2005, I was a travel agent back then and it has changed over time but it definitely can be a terrific deal for families. I wasn’t sure if it would be offered this year, but I really thought it was a “one and done” promotion back in 2005, so you never know!

Depending on the resort you choose, the offer can be for either the regular free Disney Dining Plan (Select Deluxe or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts) or for a free Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan (Select Value or Moderate Resorts). Not all resorts are included, for example Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort – a very popular moderate resort – does not qualify. In addition to the Free Dining offer, there is a separate offer for up to 30% off Walt Disney World resorts good for spring and summer. Check out that info here!

Read below for the details on the Free Dining Plan! We recommend booking with MEI Mouse Fan Travel, they have been booking Walt Disney World and other Disney vacations for 20 years!

I don’t know what offers might be available later this year. With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening, Disney might not need to offer Free Dining or too many other offers as bookings might be busy at that time. But we’ll see! I recommend booking your dining reservations early, you can call or book online at 180 days prior to your Walt Disney World onsite resort date and book for up to 10 days of your trip at that time to have the widest variety of dining choices.
