Fancy Nancy Now Meeting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

Fancy Nancy is now meeting guests at the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! She started in her new location yesterday (April 28th, 2019), a few days earlier than the May 1st date that was mentioned on the Disney Parks Blog. Nancy replaced Sofia the First, and Sofia will also be replaced at the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine in the coming days if that hasn’t happened yet. Sofia was still popular even after meeting for almost 6 years (has it really been that long?) and I’ve been asked whether Sofia will still meet somewhere. To my knowledge, no. This is the second new Disney Junior meet and greet in the past 6 months, Vampirina replaced Jake back in October.

Even though the Fancy Nancy meet and greet wasn’t announced to begin until May 1st, the line was pretty long once guests realized she was there. I recommend arriving for opening if you plan to meet her with a little shorter wait. The meet and greet is the closest one to the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant.

Other characters in the Animation Courtyard are Pluto and Doc McStuffins. And remember there is also the Disney Junior Dance Party! Here is our video of it from December.
