Santasaurus and More Dinosaur Decor Appear in Chester & Hesters Dinosaur Treasures at DinoLand U.S.A.

Hi everyone!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park has begun decorating for the holiday season! Mostly it is in the shops but that will change very soon. Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures in DinoLand U.S.A. is one of my favorite shops to look at Christmas decorations in – with Santasaurus being the focal point of the shop decor. But there is more than Santasaurus, there is always other dinosaur decor, including small dinosaurs with holiday sweaters. Take a look at the photos below and don’t miss the shop when you are in Walt Disney World for the holiday season!

Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures is is a quirky shop with a mix of merchandise.

Anytime I am in DinoLand, I like to stop in at Chester & Hester’s – but even moreso during the holidays. Christmas never seems complete without a visit to Santasaurus.

Here is our video, followed by photos!

It seems like the decorating team really enjoys this particular shop.

Santasaurus always has his hat, beard and sack of toys.

If you look around the ledges, there are always such fun decorations here – mostly centered around the dinosaurs. This one has a complete outfit and hat.

This dinosaur isn’t dressed but is up against a Christmas tree filled with ornaments.

Because of how the dinosaurs are placed, sometimes it is easier to see them OR their costumes, not both. With this dinosaur, you can see to the side his Santa hat and reindeer sweater.

From this angle, you can see the hat and sweater better. Also, there are some fun bulbs and ornaments on the trees. Santa can be seen in a decoration behind the dinosaur here.

These two dinsoaurs are adorable, both with sweaters and one almost looks like he has angel wings. One sweater has Santa heading down the chimney and the other a reindeer.

Here is the dinosaur who looks like he has angel wings too.

There is a wreath behind this Mickey Mouse puppet.

Christmas trees line the shelves.

This dinosaur has a hat and other additions.

And this dino includes holiday bells and holly! It almost looks like a hidden Mickey in the center.

I think this is a holiday decoration, a dinosaur made of bottle caps that are red and green.

Dinosaur ornaments can be found in the trees.

There are ornaments that look like road signs that say “North Pole 25”.

A dinosaur holds a large candy cane.

There is currently a decent amount of Christmas merchandise in the shop.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom park will have more activities for the holidays than it has in the past few years. But I always look forward to DinoLand U.S.A. when it is all decked out for Christmas!
