Walt Disney World Announces Opening Dates for 11 More Resort Hotels

Hi everyone!

Our partner travel agency, MEI Travel & Mouse Fan Travel just posted new information about 11 additional Walt Disney World resort hotels that are scheduled to be available to booked guests this year. Until now, only Disney Vacation Club resorts and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have been announced. Now, we have resorts such as Pop Century, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts with reopening dates (for those who have already booked) in 2020. The reopening dates are staggered into October.

Reservations for stays in 2021 will begin booking on Wednesday, June 24. Remember that with the current situation, anything can change right now. And I do recommend an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner for trips – now more than ever. MEI Travel & Mouse Fan Travel has been in business over 20 years and as a former Authorized Disney Vacation Planner myself, I really do recommend them. They can book offsite as well (including Four Seasons and Universal Orlando Hotels) in case you do want to visit the Orlando area. For Walt Disney World, the parks are scheduled to open July 11th, 2020 for Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and then July 15th, 2020 for Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Theme Park admission and reservations are required. Read below for resort information!

In addition, we currently plan to open the following resort hotels to booked Guests on the following dates. Please note, that given the fluidity of the current environment, these dates are subject to change and Guests’ reservations could still be modified to other resort hotels if needed.
