Dapper Dans Return as Cadaver Dans for Magic Kingdom Halloween 2020 (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

The Dapper Dans made their return to the Magic Kingdom on Sunday as the Cadaver Dans for the Halloween season, and I was able to catch them on Monday as well. Sunday was a very rainy day and in between bouts of rain, we looked for them on Main Street – but by then, they were playing sets in Frontierland. The next morning, I found them riding the trolley up and down Main Street as the Pooh characters have been doing.

Here is our video of the Dapper Dans in Frontierland.

The Dapper Dans are a staple of the Magic Kingdom, but the Cadaver Dans are usually exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Because there is no party this year, all entertainment available is for day guests.

The Cadaver Dans are seen in socially distanced ways, as are all characters and entertainment. Here they are near Country Bear Jamboree with no posted set times.

Songs include “Grim Grinning Ghosts” and “The Headless Horseman”.

It is really nice to see The Dapper Dans back in the park, and we will see the Voices of Liberty at Epcot this holiday season.

Here are a few more Frontierland photos and then a few from Main Street.

Monday there was a beautiful blue sky instead of the grey and soggy Sunday. I was only at the Magic Kingdom in the morning and the Cadaver Dans rode up and down Main Street in the trolley at various times. I didn’t see the Pooh characters at all on the trolley that day, but they are swapping out with the Cadaver Dans. I did catch the Pooh characters at the Crystal Palace.

The trolley runs from Town Square to Cinderella Castle and back, not on any published schedule.

It is fun to see them on Main Street, but I also liked watching a whole set of songs in Frontierland.

The Cadaver Dans leave the trolley until their next time out.

Halloween at the Magic Kingdom has been a lot of fun and there are still about five weeks left! There is a lot to see on any given day and I’ll have a roundup of all our posted articles and videos on Sunday.
