Epcot Germany Pavilion Selling Two LE 3000 2020 Christmas Ornaments, More “Fröhliche Weihnachten” Merchandise

This article was updated on December 12th, 2020 with several new items.

Hi everyone!

Each year, Die Weihnachts Ecke (The Christmas Corner) at Epcot’s German pavilion sells at least one special LE 3000 ornament that was made in Germany. This year, there are two. Mickey and Minnie and Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs each have their own ornament (as they did in 2018). Last year there was also a new theme of Christmas merchandise with “Fröhliche Weihnachten” (Merry Christmas), and there are more items this year! Here is a look at the two ornaments and expanded merchandise selection.

The photos here are from two days. Yesterday I went at park opening (noon) to purchase an ornament for my mom. Die Weihnachts Ecke is small and I usually shop at off-times right now.

Die Weihnachts Ecke is one of several stores open at the Germany pavilion right now, and you will find the Steiff bears here currently because Der Teddybar is closed.

Inside, the Fröhliche Weihnachten merchandise has taken up quite a bit of the store.

Here is the LE 3000 Mickey and Minnie ornament. I had to look at my article from last year to see if it was a different ornament (it is). I was not sure if we’d see the LE ornaments this year and I am glad to see not just one, but two.

On the front it says, “Limited Edition of 3000” and “Silk Christmas Bauble”. This is the only place you can buy the ornaments, which makes them really special.

On the back, it says “Epcot World Showcase”.

Here is the Snow White ornament, she is with the Seven Dwarfs.

It does mention on the bottom that it is made in Germany.

Here is a closer look at the Snow White ornament.

I bought this one for my mom (and might pick the other one up for her too). This is what it looks like out of the box.

On the back, it says “Epcot World Showcase”.

Here is a look at the ornaments on the wall.

There is also a Rapunzel ornament. This is a new entry this year. On my second visit this week there were a lot fewer on the shelves.

It says “Fröhliche Weihnachten” on the back and costs $34.99.

The building to the right looks a lot like the Weinkeller at the pavilion and there is the Tangled tower in the back.

There are a variety of other ornaments too. The ones on the right I don’t remember from last year and the one on the very left I do.

Mickey and Minnie with the pretzel and nutcracker is the artwork that debuted last year. I have a sweatshirt with this on it.

This Grumpy ornament was added after I originally posted the article. Really cute!

This Mickey and Minnie ornament also was newly added after I originally published the article. I bought it yesterday for my mom since it can sit on the shelf and doesn’t have to be hung from her smaller tree (but it can be). I think it looks even nicer in person. $24.99.

And this Mickey and Minnie ornament also was new yesterday. There are a ton of choices in Germany for Disney-specific holiday merchandise!

The German pickle has a Christmas hat this year.

There is a Frohes Fest (Happy Holidays) t-shirt.

The stocking is really nice and costs $29.99.

The unisex t-shirt with Mickey above had him holding the nutcracker, and this is the women’s shirt with the other half of the artwork.

Mickey is on this shirt as well.

There is a plate and spoon rest. There used to be a lot less Disney branded World Showcase merchandise and I am glad to see more (though I like authentic merchandise from the different countries also).

A new sweatshirt is available this year.

Mickey is on the back.

There is a fleece throw.

This is a display type plate.

And a mug.

I think the plate was here last year. When I wrote up an article in 2019, it was before some of the merchandise had arrived.

Some of these items were here in 2019.

The aprons and tea towels are returning items.

There is a lot of merchandise to choose from!

I also picked up a Germany card with a bear on it.

I expect to go back again and pick up a few more items – I really like this line of merchandise and that it has returned with more merchandise than last year.
