Details Released for Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts, Running January 8th – February 22nd, 2021

Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts will run from January 8th – February 22nd, 2021. The Disney Parks Blog gave a rundown on what we can expect for the upcoming festival. This is the fifth year for Epcot International Festival of the Arts, and while it will look different than previous years, we will still see the Expression Section Paint by Number mural, chalk art, some familiar entertainment, visiting artists and more. This article is just a “Taste of” what is coming – the official Walt Disney World website has much more (and we will add more articles as the date nears).

 

 

At the American Gardens Theater, the Voices of Liberty will share their own talent with The Disney Songbook. Disney says of this, “From “When You Wish Upon a Star” to “Let It Go,” the ensemble will perform Disney songs and celebrate the artistry of Disney composers and lyricists.”

 

At World Showplace, the fantastic “Art Defying Gravity” will perform as well as “Visual Art in Performance,” a “high-energy, onstage visual artist who paints favorite Disney characters before your eyes in just a matter of minutes.” Many of the offerings do run every day, but not all – information on that can be found on the official Disney site.

 

Food Studios are back, located around World Showcase. There will be a new studio, Vibrante & Vivido, which will between France and Morocco. It will feature a chilled seafood cocktail that includes octopus and scallops, as well as  blue corn pupusa. More information on the Food Studios can be found on the official Disney site and a Foodie Guide will be released soon.

Returning is the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine. Purchase five vibrant foods listed in the Festival Passport and receive a “complimentary, tasty technicolor treat”. And Figment’s Brush with the Masters is also back again this year, this is my favorite of the scavenger hunts each year.

There is quite a bit returning to this year’s event, it is hard to believe we are less than a month from the festival kickoff!

 

Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs for 46 days this year and is included with admission (and a park reservation for the date you go).
