Disney Shares More About Upcoming Jungle Cruise Update at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone!

The Disney Parks Blog shared more about the update to the Jungle Cruise attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Michael Ramirez, Public Relations Director at Disneyland Resort says, As we shared earlier this year, we are building on the original story of the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland park and Magic Kingdom Park. We’re adding more humor, wildlife and skipper heart to the classic attraction, and as part of a much larger effort, this updated experience will welcome new characters from around the world.

There will be several new scenes along the river – and the skippers will continue to share adventures and interact with guests on the Jungle Cruise. There will be a trapped safari party that “finds itself up a tree” and Disney will also be expanding the backstory of the Jungle Cruise. This will be centered around Alberta Falls, who is granddaughter of Dr. Albert Falls (the propietor of the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd.) Here is “The Daily Gnus”! It says that Alberta Falls came to Adventureland when she was 8 years old.

The Society of Explorers and Adventures is mentioned in the article.

The enhancements are supposed to come later this year. Read more on the Disney Parks Blog!
