Miguel From “Coco” Greets Guests at Disneyland (Photos, Video)
Hi everyone!
In addition to “A Musical Celebration of Coco” at Disney California Adventure, “Coco” is represented at Disneyland in the form of the walk-around character Miguel greeting guests from a distance near Rancho del Zocalo.
Here is our video and then more photos.
Miguel poses for photos and interacts with guests.
Disney says of the locaation that Miguel can be found at, Join the festivities as Frontierland hosts a very special tribute to Día de los Muertos! The holiday is a time to remember loved ones that have passed, while we embrace our eternal connections.
To commemorate the occasion, El Zócalo Park will feature iconic skeleton figurines called calacas—depicting a trio of mariachi musicians—as well as brightly colored flowers and other decorative items seen in traditional ofrendas on the Day of the Dead. You can even savor the traditional flavors of Mexico as you dine at nearby Rancho del Zócalo Restaurante.
Miguel made his character debut in early 2020 as part of the Magic Happens Parade.
Here is a look from the walkway toward the meet and greet.
Disneyland has a ton of characters out for Halloween, plus live entertainment! It has been great to be back in the parks and we will be sharing so much more in the coming weeks.
