Our Experience with Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary Characters at Media Event (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

We attended the Disneyland Paris 30th media event as part of our 2-week visit in the first half of March, and one highlight was getting to see and meet some the characters in their 30th Anniversary iridescent costumes. They don’t meet guests currently in these costumes but you can see them in “Dream…and Shine Brighter!”, along with Chip & Dale and Clarice, also in their iridescent costumes. Here are photos and videos from the media event weekend!

Mickey and Minnie do greet all guests every day in the morning from the train station.

Back in January, Disneyland Paris shared this video of the characters modeling their new outfits.

We didn’t meet Donald, but he was out greeting select media guests in Town Square. Check out the “30” on his hat.

We met Daisy Duck at a special location – the Fantasyland Train Station. She was set up with balloons and a macaron tower, with a gorgeous view of Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle) in the background. Guests can pose with characters and hug them now.

Here is our video with Daisy.

The macaron tower is similar to what you can find in the buffets of Disneyland Paris during the 30th Anniversary.

She showed off her bracelet.

We didn’t meet Goofy while he was on the hill near Sleeping Beauty Castle, but it was a great opportunity for photos.

He posed with a “Disneyland Paris 30” sign.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather during much of our trip, with beautiful blue skies most days.

Here are a couple more photos of Goofy.

We did meet him at a breakfast on our last morning.

Mickey has a great 30th costume as well.

His hat is iridescent.

He has 30th Anniversary cufflinks.

Here is our video with Mickey.

We also posed with him.

Minnie’s costume is my favorite. It is absolutely gorgeous, with a “30” in her bow.

Here is our video meeting Minnie.

She posed for more photos.

The last character we met was Pluto, at breakfast on our last morning. We have video below the photo!

Here is our video meeting Goofy and Pluto.

Pluto and Goofy had a lot of energy during breakfast, but he did stand long enough for some photos.

We had a great time during the media event and in the following 10 days of our visit. Disneyland Paris has put on a creative, inspired event for the 30th Anniversary. We look forward to visiting again later this year! Keep watching for more Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary photos and videos on Mousesteps in the coming days and weeks.
