Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort Reopens; All Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Now Open

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort reopened yesterday, the final Walt Disney World resort to reopen since the pandemic closure just over two years ago. Walt Disney World resorts have had a phased reopening since June 2020, and it is great to see all open again at the same time for the first time since March 2020.

Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse and Goofy joined Disney cast members at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., to commemorate the Disney Resort hotel’s March 31 reopening. Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort is the final Disney Resort hotel to reopen during the phased reopening at Walt Disney World. Approximately 70,000 cast members were welcomed back in a variety of roles during this time period. (Matt Stroshane, Photographer)
