TRON Lightcycle Run & Walt Disney World Railroad Update – May 25th, 2022 at Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone!

We have a TRON Lightcycle Run and Walt Disney World Railroad update from yesterday at the Magic Kingdom (May 25th, 2022). The ride vehicles for TRON were testing regularly for probably an hour of our time at the park. And it was nice to see railroad ties being placed in the Storybook Circus area. Here are photos and video from yesterday!

We rode the PeopleMover a few times yesterday to see the work being done.

There were a lot of workers (as like last visit) all over the construction site.

The Tomorrowland Speedway runs against along the construction fence here.

We showed last week the railroad tracks being worked on from the People Mover, and this area looks complete now.

Here is a look at work being done at the side of the Tomorrowland Light & Power Company shop.

In Storybook Circus, railroad ties were being placed. I am so looking forward to having the train back again.

And while we were there, the ride vehicles were testing regularly.

Tomorrow is the opening day for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and while we don’t have an opening time frame for TRON Lightcycle Run and the Walt Disney World Railroad yet, it’s exciting to see the progress each visit.
