TRON Lightcycle Run Construction Update & Ride Testing at Magic Kingdom (Photos, Video from 6/22/2022)

Hi everyone!

We were at the Magic Kingdom today and took the PeopleMover for a few rides past the TRON Lightcycle Run construction. The ride vehicles were testing, including going back and forth (backwards) without completing the full loop. Here is our video and photos from today!

And now photos! I took a few from the ground view as well. There is no date announced yet for TRON Lightcycle Run to open.

Work was going on near the tunnel for the Walt Disney World Railroad.

I noticed while walking by that the ride vehicles were testing a little differently than we’d seen them. You can see that in the video. The ride vehicle would make it most of the way to the top here and then head backwards.
