Florida Blue Lounge Returning to EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival September 3rd (in New Location)

The Florida Blue Lounge is returning to EPCOT on September 3rd, 2022 for its second year at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. It will be in a new location – Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco – and will offer lighter refreshments than when it was in the Norway pavilion last year. The emphasis will be on the experiences within the lounge. We were invited by Disney to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival yesterday and inside Restaurant Marrakesh to learn more about the upcoming lounge.

We have actually been wondering if there would be a Florida Blue Lounge this year, it was a highlight of the 2021 festival for us. Also, last year Restaurant Marrakesh was open as a relaxing area for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which was nice when it was so hot out. But now this will be the Florida Blue Lounge.

Last year, the Florida Blue lounge was available with a reservation system for those who were Florida Blue members. Now it will be open to all, but still with the reservation system. The hours will be noon – 6 p.m. daily.

A limited number of reserved seats will also be available for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, which is a terrific perk. We don’t know how that will work, if it will be first-come first serve or in another manner.

Restaurant Marrakesh has not reopened for dining yet, and it does make a spacious lounge until that happens.

We will visit the Florida Blue Lounge when it opens to share a look at what it offers! I also recommend a stop at the Tangierine Café while in the Morocco pavilion to pick up some of the delicious food items available for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival (it is a similar menu to last year).
