TRON Lightcycle Run Construction Update from August 16th, 2022 at Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone!

We rode the PeopleMover Tuesday before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, where we got a look at the current TRON Lightcycle Run construction. Ride vehicle testing was happening continually during that time. Here are our photos and video!

First, our video includes testing of the ride vehicles.

And our photos. There wasn’t much being done as far as work on the exterior at this time.

There had been work going on outside the tunnel that the train will go through.

Here is a look toward the entrance.

The PeopleMover stopped for a few minutes with this view, watching several ride vehicles passing by.

The Tomorrowland Light & Power Co is currently closed with work going on on and around the building.

We don’t know when TRON Lightcycle Run (or the Walt Disney World Railroad) will open at the Magic Kingdom yet, but it will be a terrific addition to Tomorrowland.
