Disney’s Fort Wilderness Halloween Golf Cart Parade 2022 in Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort held its annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade yesterday. As always, the event featured a ton of creativity from campground guests! Carts included a wide variety of themes from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Railroad to the Main Street Electrical Parade, the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue and more. I think this is year 12 that we’ve been posting about the parade – the Halloween parade is so popular now. Here are photos and video from yesterday!

First, our video:

There were over 100 carts in the parade. Here is a look at some of them, including many of my favorites.

A horseback rider with an American flag led the parade.

Golf carts including Zero head our way. There are winners chosen each year, we didn’t stay late enough for that but we were told Zero was one of the six chosen.

The cart in front of Zero is Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.”.

We see this cart each year, with a Minnie Mouse design.

There were quite a few cart designs themed to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

Abraham Lincoln drove a monorail.

There were several entries for trains. This one is the Walt Disney World Railroad and had steam coming out.

There were pirate themed carts.

Ghostbusters.

A two-cart contingent themed to the Minions.

Guests were dressed as Na’vi in this “Avatar” themed cart.

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room was another fun cart.

Pennywise and Michael Myers drive by.

The back of the cart also featured Michael Myers.

A “Pirates of the Caribbean” themed cart is next.

The Ranger plane from “Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers” was really unique.

Next is a “Hocus Pocus” themed cart.

A lot of carts either had inflatables or other designs.

The Orange Bird.

There were a couple of “101 Dalmatians” designs.

The Main Street Trolley is next.

The guests who designed it also were dressed for the trolley show.

“The Main Street Electrical Parade” cart was also a favorite with many guests.

Toy Story Land is the next cart, I believe this was an entry last year as well.

My personal favorite was the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue cart. I was told this was one of the six chosen as well.

This cart was FANTASTIC, I loved how the Hoop-Dee-Doo characters were on top – if you’ve seen the show, you’ll recognize them by the costumes. For example, Claire de Lune to the left and Jim Handy to the right. And the guests who drove it were also dressed as servers from the show.

The sign says “Oh So Scary Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue”.

There was so much detail on this, what a wonderfully designed cart.

Mater is next.

“Off to Neverland”.

Guests lined the streets to see these amazing carts.

Another 101 Dalmatians theme was next.

This included a Cruella driven cart.

There was a Star Wars AT-AT walker.

And this cart was themed as the Fort Wilderness Railroad.

This year was a big “wow”. While I had one favorite, I couldn’t have chosen a second place – there were too many carts that guests had put a lot of time and thought into with a wide variety of themes. Thank you again to the guests of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort for a terrific Halloween Golf Cart Parade!
