Hi everyone!

In Mousesteps Weekly #458, we talk about the Walt Disney World Railroad reopening; Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Holiday Golf Cart Parade; EPCOT construction; Carousel Coffee at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and The Cake Bake Shop construction; and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Caravanning ‘Round the World (Holiday Edition) and dinner at Three Bridges Bar and Grill. The Walt Disney World Railroad reopened on December 23rd, 2022 and we were there for a morning ride. We talk a little about the history of the railroad and show views, including the upcoming TRON Lightcycle Run.

Next, we head to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for the annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade on Christmas Eve. First, we have lunch at P&J’s Southern Takeout, which offers their famous fried chicken, cornbread, mashed potatoes and more. We then take a look at some decorations at the Settlement and then check out some of our favorite carts.

On December 29th, we made several stops. First, we took the monorail around EPCOT for some views of the construction that includes Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. The walk-through attraction is scheduled to open in late 2023.

Our next stop is to check out The Cake Bake Shop construction on the Walt Disney World BoardWalk. The restaurant and bakery is scheduled to open in 2023. We then head inside the resort for a visit to the newly opened Carousel Coffee.

We end our day with dinner at Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Before heading to dinner, we noticed that Disney characters were in what used to be the main lobby of the resort (three of them, in holiday outfits). They were there as part of Caravanning ‘Round the World! We then head to dinner and share a look at what we ordered. This is one of our favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World.
