Flower Quilt Installed for Upcoming 2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Hi everyone!

The main flower quilt for the 2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has been planted! I was here a couple of days ago and it was probably just hours from being placed. Mickey & Minnie’s heads can be seen in the flowers, as well as flower shapes. The 2023 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival kicks off March 1st (we are just shy of 3 weeks away)!

The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary monorail passes over the water, with the flower quilt in the background.

The quilt can also be seen from the monorail.

A Mickey head can be seen with Spaceship Earth in view. The purple Mickey is very prominent.

 

Here is another look at that Mickey. There will probably be three plantings this year, which means different flowers depending on season and different colors.

This flower shape also includes a lot of purple and yellow.

 

 

Minnie’s flowers are still coming in.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 1st – July 5th, 2023, and I always look forward to the arrival of flowers and topiaries!
