Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris to Close for Refurbishment March 6th, 2023 Through End of Month

Big Thunder Mountain reopened on April 1st, 2023 from refurbishment

Hi everyone!

Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris will be closed for refurbishment from March 6th – March 31st, 2023 (the ride is scheduled to reopen on April 1st, 2023). Unfortunately we’ll completely miss it during our trip this month! Big Thunder Mountain also was being refurbished during our Disneyland Paris trip in September/October 2022 except for our final day.

I will post about the Big Thunder Mountain refurbishment when we arrive next week – walls, signage, and if any work is visible like I did back in September. I also will post photos of the Disneyland Hotel current work going on and more. If you have any requests, please let me know!

“it’s a small world” and Les Mystères du Nautilus are undergoing lengthy refurbishments and have no reopening date. There are also some other refurbishments as well, but Big Thunder Mountain is one that we’ll completely miss during our March visit.
