“it’s a small world” at Disneyland Paris to Reopen on May 5th, 2023 After Lengthy Refurbishment

“it’s a small world” at Disneyland Paris now has a reopening date – May 5th, 2023! The attraction has been closed since November 2021 for a lengthy refubishment. We rode on the last evening it was open.

Disneyland Paris says, In anticipation of the reopening of “it’s a small world” on May 5, 2023 as part of @disneylandparis 30th Anniversary Grand Finale, Cast Members are more than ready to reembark for a musical voyage on the happiest cruise that ever sailed ‘round the world! 

Here is a video that Disneyland Paris has shared of the Cast Members preparing to welcome guests back to “it’s a small world”!  Below that, I have posted some photos I took last month.

“it’s a small world” has been behind walls during the refurbishment for about a year and a half now.

While we were there, the children from various countries were being added to the sign.

Boats were also being tested.

And here are topiaries near the attraction. I think these were added around the time of our fall visit.

The topiaries include a moose and a giraffe.

There is also a kangaroo with a baby.
