Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto Releases Gargoyle Tiki Mug Today at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

A Gargoyle Tiki Mug was released today at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto for Halfway to Halloween! Wristbands were being distributed with a limit of 2 per guest. The cost is $80.00 including a beverage. We arrived today at 1:30 p.m., received our wristbands and sat outside at the Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace until the 3:00 p.m. opening time.

We were told the mugs might be around a few days total, they aren’t expected to be around a long time. I don’t know the edition size. Wristband distribution for the new mug begins at 12pm ET daily, while supplies last (as per the Disney Parks Blog).

The alcoholic drink is the Look Alive Mai Tai with Plantation Dark Rum; Bacardi Superior White Rum; Bols Blackberry Brandy; Passion-Fruit-Orange-Guava Juice; Orgeat; Falernum and Lime Juice. There is also a non-alcoholic drink.

The non-alcoholic drink is the Goulish Delight, with Lyre’s Agave Reserva Spirit with Passion Fruit; Grapefruit Juice; Lemon Juice; Agave; and Soda Water.

The Gargoyle Tiki Mug is very nice! I was glad to have arrived early to secure a table outside at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto before it got a bit busy. We left around 5:00 p.m. and wristbands had been distributed for today.
