Disney Dining Plans Returning to Walt Disney World in 2024

The Disney Dining Plan is coming back to Walt Disney World in 2024! I know this is something everyone has been waiting for, and two Disney dining plans are actually returning as an option for guests who purchase a Walt Disney World Travel Company vacation package that includes a Walt Disney World hotel with stays beginning January 9th, 2024. Bookings open on May 31st, 2023!
Disney says:
Bringing back our fan-favorite Disney dining plans: Time to eat! Disney dining plans will be coming back as an option for those staying at Disney Resort hotels who purchase a vacation package with us starting with stays beginning Jan. 9, 2024, which will also open for bookings on May 31. We know our guests – and families in particular – have missed dining plans, which offer guests the convenience and peace of mind of pre-paying for their meals and snacks. Guests will be able to choose from two popular options: Packages that include either the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan. Both plans will be a great value for families with young children with access to many spectacular food and beverage offerings across Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World says that complete details and participating locations will be shared beginning May 31st, 2023.

The Walt Disney World website says about the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan:
Everyone in the travel party (ages 3 and up) will receive 2 Quick-Service meals per night and 1 snack/nonalcoholic drink per night of their package stay*—along with 1 Resort-refillable drink mug**. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay.
And about the Disney Dining Plan:
Want to slow down a little and enjoy sit-down meals—including Character dining experiences? Then the Disney Dining Plan is the perfect choice to experience classic dining options at both Quick-Service and Table-Service restaurants. This option allows you to plan your meals: Quick-Service when you’re on the go and Table-Service when you plan to savor the moment.
