Four Seasons Resort Orlando Independence Day BBQ Buffet 2023 Photos (Runs July 1st – 2nd)

Hi everyone!

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World invited us out yesterday for their PB&G Independence Day BBQ buffet, which also runs today (July 2nd, 2023) from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Reservations are required and the price is $42 per adult, $22 per child (ages 2 – 12).

Here is a look at our experience at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando yesterday!

PB&G (Pool Bar & Grill) is the outdoor restaurant to the left, over the water in front of the Four Seasons Resort Orlando tower. The restaurant serves meals during lunch/early dinner hours (currently the hours are usually 11:00 a.m. – 6:00p.m.), with a menu that includes burgers, tacos and a crab cake. This photo is from across the lake where we took a walk after the Fourth of July BBQ.

It started raining when we arrived and finished not long after. The canopy of palm trees looks even nicer reflected in the water.

From the hotel lobby, it is a pretty quick walk over to PB&G.

An above-water walkway leads the way to the entrance.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando tower can be seen from the walkway.

Before entering the restaurant, we could see a team member working at the grill. She was cooking up beef for sliders as well as sausages and more.

A sign says “Red, White & BBQ”, which runs this weekend.

A smaller sign shows the menu for buffet, which is elevated above what we’ve experienced with Fourth of July buffets elsewhere in the past.

Flag bunting is seen around the restaurant.

A guitarist played music and sang. He had taken a break during the rain but this photo is from a bit later on.

Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Fabrizio Schenardi was out checking on food and greeting guests. He has been here since the resort opened in 2014 and we always enjoy getting a chance to catch up with him.

The food at the buffet offered various salads, including a Rosemary Grilled Peach Salad.

There was also a Panzanella Salad with grilled summer squash.

I enjoyed the Southern Potato Salad with fingerling potatoes.

Watermelon sits next to pizza.

The hot dogs were huge and are next to tater tots.

The Beer Can chicken was delicious.

Smoked Brisket also was a favorite.

PB&G Sliders, Brats and Chipotle Tofu Veggie Kabobs round out the mains.

Baked Beans sit next to the Chili Broccoli (which was a little too spicy for me).

White Cheddar Mac & Cheese sits next to the Creamed Corn.

Terrapin was on hand to give out samples of its Love is Love beer, a traditional Bavarian Weissbier in celebration of Pride.

Desserts also were delicious, including the Patriotic Berry Trifle with angel food cake and vanilla diplomat cream.

I didn’t see a sign for this, but it’s like a chocolate peanut butter tart. It was so tasty.

There were a total of four desserts, including a Rice Krispie treat.

From my seat, I could enjoy the lake view with fountain.

Here is a look at two of Jeff’s plates.

We tried a couple of drinks each. Jeff ordered the On Barbados Tai’m with Mount Gay rum, allspice dram, Myers Rum, Disaronno and lime. I ordered the Pretty in Pink with Hendricks gin, rose water, raspberry, lychee and lemon. Both were really nice drinks for a warm day.

Here is a look at the PB&G drink menu.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando also has several other wonderful restaurants, including the Michelin-starred rooftop restaurant Capa Steakhouse and the Italian restaurant Ravello (which offers a character breakfast as well on select days each week). I hate to pick favorites because all of the restaurants are exceptional.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a AAA Five Diamond-rated resort – the only one in Central Florida – and I recommend visiting to stay and/or to dine. The recreation for those who are overnight guests includes a lazy river and an adult pool (and much more). I just posted about the newly renovated Park View Deluxe Suites, which we toured.

Thank you to the Four Seasons Resort Orlando for having us out for their Fourth of July BBQ! Reservations can be made for today (July 2nd), and I recommend following the Four Seasons Resort Orlando on Facebook for news on future restaurant events and other happenings.
