Florida Blue Lounge Returns to EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2023 (Photos)

Hi everyone!

The Florida Blue Lounge returned last month to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. We were out of town at that time and for more than a month after, but we had a chance to stop by the Morocco pavilion this weekend to check it out. The Florida Blue Lounge is a nice place to unwind a bit, enjoy a free drink and maybe an activity.

Take a look inside the Florida Blue Lounge with our photos below!

The Florida Blue Lounge is inside Restaurant Marrakesh for the second year in a row (prior to that, the lounge was located in Akershus Banquet Hall before the restaurant reopened in Norway). Restaurant Marrakesh has not reopened yet as a restaurant.

The Florida Blue Lounge is open from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily through November 18th, 2023. While the sign says Florida Blue Medicare Lounge, everyone is welcome. You can sign up for a pass here.

Florida Blue Medicare welcomes guests to the lounge.

The Florida Blue Lounge was busier than we’ve seen it in the past couple of years. That said, it wasn’t bad for a busy Saturday afternoon at EPCOT.

We stopped to pick up a drink.

Complimentary beverages are provided by Florida Blue.

There are two different kinds of Aha sparkling water, along with samples of fresh pressed juices.

Also there is ice water and Moroccan Mint Tea (which is warm, not cold).

Aha was served at the Florida Blue Lounge the first year it was open. I don’t recall that being the case in 2022.

There are also activities for guests.

One of the activities is sculpting a mosaic tile. The line was kind of long for it, so we didn’t try the activity (at least not yet).

This is a look at the mosaic tile activity area.

Guests can also receive a complimentary henna tattoo. There was a bit of a line for this also but not too bad.

The Florida Blue Lounge is worth a stop if you are looking for something to drink and a rest during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Also, the press release says that guests can request VIP seats, while supplies last, for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare. I didn’t see anyplace to do that so I assume the seats already were given out.

It is nice to see the Florida Blue Lounge back this year! That said, I hope that Restaurant Marrakesh makes a return one of these days as well.
