(Photos) EPCOT Construction Update From December 27th, 2023

Hi everyone!

We took the monorail through EPCOT yesterday and I have photos of the CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza construction that continues. While World Celebration Gardens opened earlier this month, both CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza were delayed through 2024 with no date given for opening yet.

Newer trees continue to block some of what was easy to view just a couple of months ago.

The small building is still covered in white.

More can be seen from this angle as we continue on the monorail.

CommuniCore Hall will be a “flexible exhibition and gallery space, offering a wide variety of experiences that highlight art, live music, food – complete with a demonstration kitchen – and more.” Also there will be a Mickey & Friends meet and greet location.

CommuniCore Plaza “will have the flexibility to host intimate musical performances that extend out into the nearby gardens, as well as large-scale concerts”.

There was quite a bit of work going on at the location yesterday.

This is the part that seems the most changed to me since our last update, with the wood on CommuniCore Hall to the right.

Our passes are blocked out until January 4th, so we’ll have another update after that (once I can take photos from the ground again).
