Concept Art Shared for “Avatar” Experience Coming to the Disneyland Resort

Hi everyone!

Disney CEO Bob Iger today shared concept art for potential ‘Avatar’ land/experience coming to the Disneyland Resort at the Walt Disney Company’s 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

Iger said, “We’re thrilled about many potential new stories that our guests could experience at Walt’s original theme park, including the opportunity to embark on all-new Avatar adventures with a visit to the world of Pandora. Our Imagineers have been hard at work dreaming up what guests might expect.”

The concept art shows an outdoor boat ride, along with lush landscaping and waterfalls.

Nothing has been officially announced for this Avatar experience, but now we have an idea of what could potentially come with the concept art. We don’t know what location the Avatar area will be at or a potential opening date. Hopefully we will hear much more at D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this August!
