Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Update & Critter Co-Op Windows at Magic Kingdom – 4/16/24

Hi everyone!

We went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday and have a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure update to share! Since our last visit, Critter Co-Op signage has gone on the shop and various props and theming have been added to the windows. We also rode the Walt Disney World Railroad and have some photos and video from there.

First, we are looking at Critter Co-Op, which replaces the Briar Patch gift shop that was themed for Splash Mountain. This is in addition to Tiana’s Bayou General, which will be at the ride exit.

Here is our video, followed by photos.

The Critter Co-Op is really nicely themed.

The Critter Co-Op sign features Apollo the raccoon and Rufus the turtle, who will each have their own plush figures!

There is a sign for the Bayou Community Band, which features critters from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

This window features a bulletin board with notes posted.

There is a Firefly Family Sing-Along with cousin Randy.

Beginner Dance Class.

Cooking Class.

The various posts can be seen through the window.

Here are a few more up close.

A sign talks about upcoming shows, including the Bayou Bobcats.

Another window reveals more theming for the attraction.

Music is a large part of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and fancy mixed candy looks to make a great musical instrument.

Tools hang on the wall.

Various cans are on the shelf.

Paint cans include Bayou Green.

A second Critter Co-Op sign is hung up.

There are fruits and vegetables in the window.

The vegetables are the Bayou Best.

A note from Tiana is in the green peppers.

The note is from the kitchen of Tiana’s Palace, to Louis and friends.

There is Tiana’s Foods hot sauce.

Cabbage and other items are here as well.

And I have some photos to share of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

There was no testing while we were there.

It looked like foliage was being worked on.

We saw a worker at the top of the hill just after this photo was taken.

And work was going on back here, behind the walls, including some painting. Here are photos from the train of the queue and building.

It is hard to believe we are nearing the summer opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! I look forward to all of the Audio-Animatronics, music and the beignet smell in the queue. And of course, the famous drop as well.
