Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Update from May 7th, 2024 at Walt Disney World

May 12 update: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been announced to open on June 28, 2024 at the Magic Kingdom!

Hi everyone!

We have Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction photos and video from yesterday at the Magic Kingdom! The attraction opens at Walt Disney World this summer (and later this year at Disneyland in California). And there is even a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Little Golden Book coming this year! Our last update was a couple of weeks ago, before we went to the Disneyland Resort for Pixar Fest.

First, here is our video, followed by the photos.

We rode the train to the Frontierland station to get a look into the queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. There is still some work going on here, but the pavement looks really nice.

We had shared the Main Entrance a number of updates ago.

There is landscaping and other work going on.

Boxes that say “Tiana’s Foods” are visible.

From the train platform, we could get a nice look into the queue area.

Jeff noticed a sign that may say “Children’s Garden” (we couldn’t see the plural).

There are flower pots, a bird house, garden tools, a watering pail and more.

Nearby, it looks like a garden with peppers, radishes and other vegetables.

Here are more photos around the queue.

In the distance, I could sort of see a Hot Sauce sign.

In front of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, there is a covered-up sign.

It looks like digital return time signs are being installed as well.

Water was in the trough, but no boats were cycling. We haven’t yet seen testing for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ourselves.

We finally had our first look at the purple banner (I will show it lower from the side).

The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure banner says, “Tonight Only! A celebration of family and friends of New Orleans at the proud home of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen” and “Everyone is welcome”.

We have a few more photos from the back of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This is taken from near the restrooms.

Flowers decorate the landscape.

From the train station platform, a flower can be seen in the design below.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is getting so close to opening! Are you ready?
