Photos: Chicken Guy! Construction During Expansion to Add Covered Seating at Disney Springs

Hi everyone!

Chicken Guy! is expanding at Disney Springs, adding a covered terrace. We were on the rooftop of the Coca-Cola Store and noticed the construction behind the walls of the expansion at the West Side of Disney Springs. There is signage letting guests know that the location is open during the project.

The concept art on the wall shows what the Chicken Guy! covered seating should look like when complete. Chicken Guy! opened in August 2018 and became a popular restaurant immediately.

There are multiple signs on the construction walls, and Chicken Guy! employees letting guests know the location is open.

From above, it looks like there will be some time until the seating area is complete.

This isn’t the first expansion for Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs. About two years ago, the restaurant interior was expanded (which was sorely needed) into the former Planet Hollywood Gift Shop. The sign in front of that expansion still says “The Store”.
